After interviewing a number of custom builders, it was clear that Larry and his team at Pescara were the clear choice for our family. Each previous client that we met raved about their build experience, and once we started working with them, we knew why.
The work that was done was of the utmost quality and had incredible workmanship. Every single professional he worked with was at the top of their industry craft, knowledgeable and reliable. I was amazed at how they understood our vision and created it with such precision.
The build site was incredibly organized and the project was on time. Larry, Michael and the rest of the team were so fantastic to deal with. They looked after our best interest the entire time and put us at such ease. We couldn’t have had a better experience.

a most enjoyable experience
Larry Roma of Pescara Homes was awarded the contract to build our home in 2000. Our 12,000 sq. foot home was totally finished in twenty months. The entire interior and exterior which included the pool installation and an enormous landscaping project, were 100% complete.
It was a most enjoyable experience and we we're thrilled with the result. The home is the envy of the neighbourhood as the workmanship was far beyond the other custom builds.
Larry is focused and truly takes an interest in the project. The trades he contracts are very efficient and they are considerate of the other contractors. Their pride in their workmanship is evident in the results.
Larry was at the site before sun rise and was very meticulous about organizing all the trade workers and installations on a timely schedule which kept delays down to a minimum. He was very efficient with the expenditure logs. He was also able to make changes on the fly where he deemed necessary or proposed changes which were esthetically better than originally proposed on the drawings. He suggested we flip the installation of the hallway staircase when it was delivered and it opened the hallway.
The post build service that he offers is comforting in knowing that he will always answer your call, even if it’s several years later.
In summation, our home building experience was truly a joy and we will forever be thankful to Larry for making our dream house a reality.

Larry Pescara will proudly tell you that he is a builder with over 40 years of experience. But Larry does not build houses; he creates custom homes, and he did that for our family.
We spent an exhaustive year looking at well over a hundred properties before deciding to take the plunge to build our own custom home. There was a particular design of a home we had admired in a preferred neighbourhood and as fate would have it, Larry was the builder. Even more impressive was that he built that home four years prior and was able to give us a tour of the home with the blessings of the home-owners! That spoke volumes about the quality of his work and especially his character.
Even though we had no experience in building a home, Larry provided guidance throughout the entire process. As the Project Manager, Larry managed all professionals, ensured we met our milestones, and helped us stay within budget by presenting us with options and alternatives along the way.
Larry has a unique approach of only scheduling one professional at time to complete their work. This eliminates unnecessary distraction from having multiple craftsmen on-site so to ensure the best workmanship is being done. This also helped to keep the construction site clean & safe daily. Larry was on-site every day inspecting the work and had no qualms about having work redone if it did not meet his high standards. We were very fortunate to have someone that takes great pride in the homes they create. Our family and friends were all genuinely surprised that we had such an enjoyable experience.
